Our Editorial Pillars

Execution First

We write about what actually happens on the ground during setup — soil mechanics, structural failures, last-minute weather changes. Not idealized case studies.

Local Sourcing

Our editorial team focuses on sourcing strategies within Bihar, Jharkhand, and eastern UP — mandis, wholesalers, fabricators, and artisan networks.

Deep Expertise

Every article is minimum 1,500 words — because event logistics cannot be explained in bullet points. We write for professionals, not beginners browsing Pinterest.

Why We Started This

The Indian event decoration industry generates billions of rupees annually, but the knowledge that powers it — the techniques for draping 30,000 sq ft of velvet, for managing 300kVA of electrical load invisibly, for sourcing Gota Patti at below-MRP — has always lived inside the heads of experienced professionals. It is never written down.

Social media shows the finished product: the glittering mandap, the floral tunnel, the perfectly lit stage. It never shows the 48-hour setup in 42°C heat, the soil that swallowed a base plate, or the generator that had to be repositioned at midnight because the exhaust was blowing toward the kitchen.

Vishal Decor Ideas exists to document that invisible knowledge. We write for the decorator who has already done ten events and wants to understand the why behind what works — not just a list of "5 décor trends for 2026."

Our Editorial Standards

Every article published on Vishal Decor Ideas meets the following criteria:
